Gary Phillips, owner of Plantscape Formations.
is a native Texan. He was born in Amarillo and grew up in Dalhart, TX in the Panhandle area. In 1985 he relocated to Dallas and his interest in landscaping began while working for a lawn care company. Gary really enjoyed the industry and decided to start his own business in 1989. Residential lawn care/landscaping was his first area of expertise, and he quickly expanded his company to include commercial lawn care/landscaping service – focused on chains of retail outlets and office buildings.
He moved to Austin in 2000 and continued his Dallas operation for a few years until he had acquired more business in Austin. He now operates exclusively in the He resides in SW Austin with his wife and 4 daughters.
